Tatyanna lives in her sparsely furnished second-floor apartment. It has worn floors and bare walls, and she survives without basic amenities. She must negotiate stairs and cross a road to a shed in which there is a dry toilet.

God is at work in ‘impossible’ situations in Central Asia. Surrounded and outnumbered by an almost exclusively Muslim community, Christian pastors and evangelists are witnessing God breaking into the darkness.

Pastor Volodymyr says, 'There are 4 families that accepted the Saviour in our church. There are teenage children from those families repenting and accepting Jesus Christ into their lives. We need the Lord’s help to teach them about Jesus Christ and how to walk with Him.'

It was thrilling to hear that 20 new converts from Islam were baptized a few weeks ago. God is working in Central Asia.

Ivan was a great support for us. When he died, I had no desire to live.

We look back with gratitude on three decades of Distance Bible School operating. A journey that we see primarily as a testimony of God's faithfulness.
