Led by Peter Mihalchiuk, the church seeks to meet both the practical and spiritual needs of those who might otherwise struggle alone.
Tamara is one of the people whose life has been touched by this ministry. After a childhood head injury, she lost her sight completely following surgery intended to restore her vision. Living in total blindness left her feeling extremely isolated. When believers visited her and invited her to a special church meeting for the blind, she decided to attend. Since then, Tamara has begun praying to God, asking Him for patience and thanking Him for the believer who first shared the good news of Jesus Christ with her.
Maria has also suffered from poor vision since childhood. After the death of her 39-year-old daughter, she was left living alone. When she later suffered a heart attack and was hospitalised, she remembered attending a meeting at Peter’s church where she had been encouraged to pray. Today, Maria says she speaks to God regularly, thanking Him for the help she has received.
Another woman, Raisa, has been widowed for more than thirty years. After believers visited her with groceries and shared the Gospel, she now professes faith in God and asks for prayer for her daughter in Italy, who has been diagnosed with leukaemia.
With your support through Slavic Gospel Association, this ministry continues to bring practical help—and the hope of Christ—to those in need. Pray that they would see ‘the light of the glory of the Gospel of Christ.’
