Guest Speakers

Bible Ministry

Gareth Burke

Gareth, who is based in Northern Ireland, retired from ministry in November 2024. He pastored three congregations during his forty years of service and has a deep interest in mission, especially across Europe. He is married to Ruth and they have been blessed with four children, now grown up, and thirteen grandchildren. Gareth will also be sharing extensively in the programme for youth & young adults.

Yuri Skurydin

While Yuri fulfils the demanding role of Director of the Almaty Bible Institute, he is also the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, which has over 500 members. He and his wife Alexandra, have three children ranging from 10 to 21 years old. For over twenty-five years, SGA has partnered with ABI to train a new generation of Gospel workers from across Central Asia.

Martin Kacur

Martin has been involved in ministry for 14 years and currently serves as senior pastor in the Free Evangelical Church in Presov, Slovakia. He has 10 years experience in Gospel ministry within the Roma community. His desire is to help revitalise local churches to fulfil the Great Commission. He and his wife, Iveta, have four children and one granddaughter. He enjoys sports and good books.

Kateryna Nikonorova

As a qualified translator, Kateryna plays a vital role within the Mission as Communications Coordinator in Ukraine. With her home city of Kharkiv under constant attack, she brings to the conference first-hand insight into life in a war-affected city, along with a deep concern for her country and its people. In addition to her communications work, she is actively involved in humanitarian and medical response projects across Ukraine.

Rooms will be available from 3.00pm and dinner will be served at 6.45pm. Conference concludes after Sunday lunch.

Families

Families are most welcome. While we are unable to provide creche facilities, sessions can be relayed to a room where parents can supervise their children.

Youth & Young Adults

We want you to be deepened in your Christian faith and develop a broader mission perspective. The youth/young adult programme’s more relaxed format will provide an opportunity to engage with guest speakers and discuss relevant topics.
