A Wonderful Provision!

Alexander is so grateful to SGA supporters for the gift of a minibus to serve the church and the local community in Ukraine.
SGA’s Project70 missionary, Alexander, remains in east Ukraine serving the Lord while his children have moved to the west of the country.

Alexander was in great need of a vehicle to help in his ministry. He writes:

‘Prayers for this transport began to ascend to the Almighty a few months before the start of active hostilities, but the answer came at the most necessary moment.’

Through the unstinting support of SGA’s many partners across UK and Ireland the Mission was able to provide for this need. Alexander uses the vehicle to bring much needed food supplies, medicine, and other essentials to the villages around him.

This need is paramount since current events in the Donbas region indicate that serious battles will soon be fought there and indeed are already taking place. If necessary, the minibus will also be used to evacuate people from danger areas.

Villages in the region have no power or fuel, and no food in the shops. They face continual shelling. Shops in the villages have been closed for a long time as there are no deliveries. There has never been a pharmacy to serve these villages.

Alexander is very grateful for all that has been provided. He reports that the church was given a generator which has been so useful. It allows people to charge their phones and keep in contact with loved ones. More people have been coming along to the church services. Many are very grateful for the help the church has given them.

Alexander finished his report with a note of gratitude.

Peace and grace to you, dear friends! On behalf of myself and on behalf of our communities in the villages, thank you for your assistance in purchasing a passenger bus for the needs of our communities! From our side, we promise to take good care of the vehicle, and use it in spreading the Word of God and winning souls for the Kingdom of Heaven!
