Blessings in Central Asia!

An opportunity arose to visit an isolated and unreached region with a team. Time was spent with dozens of individuals and families.
A Project70 missionary in a Central Asian country expressed great heartfelt joy as he observed the growth of the church. We rejoice with him in his experience of the Lord’s blessing in a very powerful way.

He reports: ‘Five people from the area are getting ready to be baptized. All of them are new converts from Islam. I am planning to visit them in person and spend some time in preparing them for baptism.’

Our missionary is also involved in leadership training programmes. He writes: ‘In spite of the restrictions, we have been able to hold a conference for indigenous people, and a training seminar for national church leaders on leadership and administration.

The theme of the conference was “Be Ye Holy just as Your Father is Holy”. We had a three-day seminar on Homiletics for national leaders. It was a great time for brothers to learn some preaching skills.’

An opportunity arose to visit an isolated and unreached region with a team. Time was spent with dozens of individuals and families. The huge need in this region was reinforced to the team – ‘We saw the real big need among the people in Pamir. And the real need is always the same – it is Jesus’.

Our missionary had a special blessing of meeting an Imam who serves a few villages. He had a lot of good questions about Jesus and is very open to the Gospel.

Pray that God will strengthen and equip the thirty SGA Project70 missionaries in Central Asia and that their ministry and evangelism will be empowered and blessed by God.
