A Strategic Gospel Opportunity
In Bazna
We’re delighted to announce a new partnership with our long-term friends at Bethel Church in Mediaș, Romania, as part of our expanding sponsorship programme.
The nearby town of Bazna once had a vibrant Gospel witness but has since declined: the building needs major repairs and the congregation now has only a few elderly members. The plan is to refurbish the building and renew the church through the ministry of Ionatan Moldovan, a theologically trained church planter and missionary who carries a deep burden for Bazna.
Pastor Daniel Cioban of Bethel Church, who will support and hold Ionatan accountable, said:
“Ionatan has a deep heart for the people of Bazna. His consistent presence and ministry would be a key part in the long-term spiritual transformation of the area… Furthermore, Bazna serves as a strategic location for reaching three additional nearby villages: Boian, Velț, and Blăjel.”
SGA has also provided funds for the construction project. Please pray that God will bless this step of faith so the hope of the Gospel will once again shine in this needy area.
