Providing for the body & soul!

SGA is delighted to be able to help fund the printing of New Testaments and provide for the food parcels.
In the midst of a vicious and unrelenting war, God’s servants are determined to continue with their precious ministry. In a Christian printing house in West Ukraine, volunteers are working tirelessly to pack food parcels and oversee the printing of New Testaments.

Included in each food box is an adult and children’s Bible, as well as additional Gospel literature explaining the way of salvation. Our partner sent the following report:

‘Food is prepared into boxes; our press men are printing both the New Testament for the adults and the children’s version. Many of these boxes will be delivered to remote areas of Ukraine, where the people never heard the Gospel message before.’

This is a great example of taking care of the body and soul. A food box is estimated to feed 3-4 people over a 5-7 day period. More than 6000 of these boxes have been delivered. Each costs around 30 euros, including food, literature, and transportation.

SGA is delighted to be able to help fund the printing of New Testaments and provide for the food parcels. May the love of Christ and the truth of God’s Word shine into many hearts!

Let us continue to pray that these people, who are struggling for their life in this war-torn country, may discover Eternal Life as they feed on the Word of God.

One observer wrote the following:

‘The greatest spiritual result we see is that God through these events has caused a spiritual hunger in so many people, a spiritual search for truth, peace, confidence in the future and for a foundation of faith. The nations are stretching out for the Gospel, for the Word of God, for the Bible. I personally haven’t seen such a hunger for the Word of God since the 1990s when the Soviet Union fell apart’.
