Many years of tension and enmity between Bulgarian Christians and Turkish Muslims have failed to halt a blossoming Gospel work in the south region of Bulgaria. That work includes the ministry of a Hope Centre.
Witness by faithful believers has resulted in the salvation of former Muslims, and a Turkish church has been formed. God has blessed the church and it has obtained a site on which to build.
A recent report included encouraging details of their plans to complete Hope Centre facilities on the third floor of the building. The finished building will also serve as the church meeting place and centre for ministry. Believers and friends have already contributed and accomplished a great deal, but the project is far from complete.
Their plan is to provide for the neediest and most vulnerable people through the Hope Centre ministry, and then to develop the rest of the building for ministry and outreach.
Today, the church has 70 adults attending and even more children. More and more young people have also started to attend, and the need to accommodate these and further develop the ministry is urgent.
