The past 19 months of war in Ukraine have brought upheaval, pain, and suffering to millions. Yet, in the midst of destruction and despair, God is working through His faithful servants like Volodymyr Semenjuk who ministers in Boryspil. In his recent report he shared about new converts over the past few months.
‘There are 4 families that accepted the Saviour in our church. There are teenage children from those families repenting and accepting Jesus Christ into their lives. 21 people repented and accepted Jesus Christ into their lives. On June 3, we had our first baptism service in our church. 19 brothers and sisters were baptized. We held the second baptism on September 2, and 13 more brothers and sisters were baptized as well. Most of the church members repented and were baptized this year, and there are many people who have repented and have not yet been baptized. They all need to be taught. We need the Lord’s help to teach them about Jesus Christ and how to walk with Him.’
Volodymyr
Volodymyr continues to plan for his future ministry. He wants to commence a teenage work, a men’s ministry, and a women’s fellowship. He wants to enlarge his evangelism outreach.
He told of how a woman was walking down the street when he confronted her with the message of the Gospel and offered her an invitation to church. During the conversation he felt God telling him to share about repentance and salvation. As soon as he started talking about it, she immediately said she was willing to accept Jesus Christ in her life. He discovered that she was a drug addict, and after her repentance God set her free completely from this addiction.
Volodymyr, an SGA-sponsored missionary in Ukraine is deeply grateful for your support. Because of you he is able to continue his Gospel ministry. We rejoice in all that God is doing not only through Volodymyr but many other missionary families. The church is growing!
Through its sponsorship programme SGA is supporting approx. 30 missionary families in Ukraine.
