the inside story

An SGA Project70 Missionary’s Experience!

The children were traumatized as the explosions were very strong, leaving huge ruins. They were lying on the floor and praying during the airstrikes.
We were staying at home praying and helping people in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Then the internet connection was cut off. There was a lot of shelling in our city. The Russians were surrounding the city.

I decided it was time to bring my family and other people to a safe place. These were people from our church, where two floors were bombed near their apartment. The children were traumatized as the explosions were very strong, leaving huge ruins. They were lying on the floor and praying during the airstrikes.

I made the decision to drive my family and brothers and sisters in Christ who were willing, out of a dangerous place. We decided to drive west to Rivne, 800km away.

Then we had no fuel, so we had to wait in a long line at a filling station. We stayed overnight in Kremenchuk seminary, then in the Vinnytsia region in the countryside, and eventually we came to Rivne.
