Workers for the Harvest Field!

We praise God that hundreds of graduates from the school are now serving in various ministries.
At the end of last November, a group of 26 students graduated from the Slavic Gospel Association Mission School in Balti, Northern Moldova.

It was the 16th group to complete the two-year Bible training course, designed to prepare men and women for a wide range of ministries in their spiritually needy land.

A special graduation meal was organised and attended by the students and their spouses. This culminated in a formal graduation service held that evening at Bethany Church, with several guests present, including local pastors and representatives from Divitia Gratiae University in Chisinau. The students’ achievements were marked by the presentation of their diplomas, along with several hard-copy and digital books.

We praise God that hundreds of graduates from the school are now serving in ministry as pastors, church planters, women’s, children’s and youth workers.

Church planting has been a major part in Gospel advancement, and under the supervision and counsel of SGA’s Regional Co-ordinator, Pastor Peter Mihalchiuk (image below), students have been prepared and equipped to establish small but strong churches, committed to ongoing evangelism and the teaching of God’s people.

The progress made and the ground gained in Northern Moldova are remarkable. In the early 1990s, it was estimated that there was an evangelical church or witness for every 14-15 villages. Today, there is a Gospel witness for every two villages.

God’s people have been encouraged, and the Mission School training is so highly valued that the proposed 17th group of students, commencing studies this month, is over-subscribed.

Please pray for this ongoing SGA ministry of training and supporting students in preparation for a lifetime of Gospel ministry.
