Water of Life

One of our partners in mission, Viktor, desires to relieve the suffering of others through the provision of the fresh water.
Fresh water is a commodity that we take for granted herein the UK.  Unfortunately, in parts of the Ukraine this is not so due the destruction of water dams.

One of our partners in mission, Viktor Kostenko, desires to relieve the suffering of others through the provision of the fresh water that he can draw from the wells that he himself is blessed to own. However, if the water is to reach those who need it, Viktor requires help.

This is where SGA funding helps, not only in the supply of bottles, but the transportation costs involved in distributing this precious content to those who require it so desperately.

So far that’s included:

Vitalek – a paramedic who regularly attends the victims of the missile attacks who, he says, benefit hugely from the availability of fresh water. Surgeons at a nearby hospital who, due to the bottled water, have been enabled to once again care properly for those undergoing medical procedures. The inhabitants of Primorske – a village that frequently comes under enemy attack and no longer has a reliable water supply of its own. Here two large barrels have been installed outside the church from where it can be collected at any time of the day or night.

Pray for this vital ministry – that the planned provision of water barrels in other villages may take place, that the water will be a blessing to all those who make use of it, and that many, in receiving the Gospel, may receive the living water that only Jesus can give.

“Jesus said…’Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”’ [John 4:13-14]
