In contrast to the surrounding destruction and death, the evangelical church in Uman stands out as a centre of help and hope, a place where people can find warmth and comfort.

The last clinic was in Kherson where the front line was only a few kilometres away. During the whole time that we were receiving patients, we constantly heard the explosion of shells. But, despite this, people in need of help came to us in a continuous stream.

Hospice Emanuel is an SGA Phoebe ministry. Through your support we are able to help provide the resources that are needed to offer this vital care.

The programmes are very helpful for the people, especially for those who cannot visit the church. They provide life-changing messages, food for spiritual growth, and a Biblical view for the challenges and problems of life

When the brothers and sisters from the church visited Gulnora and brought some help, she began to cry and said, "Thank you, Lord, that You are faithful in fulfilling Your promises!"

Ukrainian churches have opened their doors to be centres of ‘Help and Hope', where people from the community can gather in a warm place, receive a hot meal, practical help, and share and pray.
