In sincere appreciation

Dear brothers and sisters, thank you for standing with us. Thank you for promising to stay with us until this war ends and beyond.
In sincere appreciation by Pastor Igor Bandura, Ukraine

On behalf of the evangelical churches of Ukraine, we greet you with heartfelt gratitude as you celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of SGA.

For three-quarters of a century, the Lord has used this mission to be a channel of His grace, and today we, the Ukrainian churches, want to say a huge and sincere “Thank you!”

We thank you especially for your steadfast love and support during these darkest days of war in our land. When evil rages fiercest, sensing its own end is near, the light of Christ’s love shines even brighter, and you have helped that light to reach the most painful and hidden places.

Through SGA, you [supporters] have stood with pastors who remain on the front lines of ministry, often at great personal risk. You have cared for widows and orphans, for children traumatised by the horrors of war. You have delivered tons of humanitarian aid to families who have lost homes, loved ones, and hope. You have supported Bible colleges and seminaries that continue to train the next generation of servants of God, even while bombs fall.

Thousands of British Christians have faithfully and sacrificially lifted up Ukraine before the throne of grace day after day. We feel those prayers. We are alive because of those prayers. Never underestimate the power of the spiritual front you hold so faithfully.

The situation in Ukraine remains incredibly hard. People are dying. Homes, hospitals, schools, and power stations are being destroyed. The suffering cuts deeply into every heart. Yet for the church, this is not a time to hide; it is a time to serve, to carry the love of Jesus right into the midst of darkness. And in the middle of it all, our hope in God remains unshaken.

Dear brothers and sisters, thank you for standing with us. Thank you for promising to stay with us until this war ends and beyond. We love you deeply, and every day, Ukrainian believers pray for you, for revival in your land, and for the Gospel to run swiftly across Great Britain.

May the Lord richly bless every SGA worker, every supporter, every member of that great army of intercessors who give their money, their time, and above all, their prayers. May He keep you, strengthen you, and use you mightily in the years to come.

Happy 75th anniversary, Slavic Gospel Association!

To God alone be the glory!
With love and gratitude,
The evangelical churches of Ukraine
