Expanding Biblical Leadership Training

The vision of West Siberian Bible College is to penetrate the darkest regions of Siberia and Mongolia and share the Good News with unreached millions
Siberia - its harsh climate and its past reputation as a penal colony sends shivers down the spine!

SGA has become involved in helping to train missionaries to evangelize the wider hostile Siberian region, and even across the border into Mongolia.

The West Siberian Bible College (WSBC) which had been training workers for more than 20 years, lost critical financial support and in 2017 ceased its work. But help was at hand, for leaders from Almaty Bible Institute (ABI), Kazakhstan, with whom WSBC had previously ministered in outreach to Mongolia, were moved to assist and support the College’s vital ministry.

Their plan is to keep in place the existing Bible training already offered, and offer a further 5 year Bachelor level programme, one which is proving very beneficial in ABI. The vision of WSBC and ABI is to penetrate the darkest regions of Siberia and Mongolia and share the Good News with unreached millions.

SGA will fund this project. The financial commitment is considerable, but the needs are critical. Few of Siberia’s 20 million people have heard the Gospel. Neighbouring Mongolia is almost totally unreached. Millions are perishing without hope. The task is daunting but with support from SGA, and confidence in their God and His Gospel, WSBC will prepare labourers for this vast harvest field.

Pray that through this initiative a growing army of young, trained believers will share the Gospel and see many brought to Christ, and Gospel churches planted for His glory.
