Such was the case with Vladimir, a respected pastor and leader serving in Kazakhstan. He is already part of SGA’s sponsorship programme and through this ongoing relationship support is given for his ministry and, from time to time, specific practical needs.

Recently Vladimir shared one such need – for reliable transportation. He wrote:

“I need a car primarily for serving God, to implement evangelism and social ministry projects… Serving our Lord Jesus Christ is my priority; everything else comes second.”

As someone who helps oversee outreach and evangelism for many churches in Kazakhstan, the need was clear. He had saved a small amount but was a long way short of the required funds. However, thanks to the generosity of partners and supporters SGA was able to respond, and we are delighted to report that following local advice, Vladimir has now purchased a reliable, easy-to-maintain car. Another Christian leader commented on the purchase, stating: ‘His ministry to God and people will be even more fruitful with the new transportation!’

Please pray that God will bless Vladimir and use him to bring the hope of the Gospel across the great distances of Kazakhstan.
