Preparing Gospel Leaders in Moldova

At the end of November last year, the 16th consecutive group of students graduated from the Mission School in Balti, Moldova. Friends, family, and special guests gathered to give God praise for the past two years and to re-dedicate themselves to future service. As part of their graduation, each of the 26 students received digital and physical books to support their ongoing ministries, equipping them to serve effectively in their churches and communities.

Under the guidance of Pastor Peter Mihalchiuk, these men and women have been trained for a variety of ministries – pastoring, church planting, children’s and youth work, and women’s ministry – bringing the Gospel to communities in spiritual need. Their training is already bearing fruit as graduates are involved in strengthening local churches and discipling new believers in spiritually needy areas.

Reflecting on the past two years, students described their experience at the Mission School as transformative: ‘an unforgettable opportunity,’ a time to ‘learn new things, study scripture more deeply and grow spiritually,’ and ‘new knowledge, a new vision about ministry, a deeper understanding of the Bible.’

The school’s training continues, with the next group of 25 students having commenced their studies in January. Thanks to the prayers and support of partners, this vital training continues to prepare leaders for the work of God in Moldova.

Please continue to pray for both past and present students – that the Lord would strengthen them, guide them, and use them to glorify Christ through faithful Gospel ministry.
