Bombs and Baptisms

In recent weeks Odessa has seen an escalation in aerial attacks. Yet in the midst of all this God is still at work in Grace Shelter.
Grace Shelter has been a partner of SGA for several years now. Situated in Odessa, a city in Ukraine that in recent weeks has seen an escalation in aerial attacks, it continues to care for around 40 orphans in family-style groups.
It is, of course, an extremely stressful time. Inevitably some of the children are developing emotional problems as a result of the constant bombardment of the city they call home, and a lack of basic necessities such as electricity and water.
Grace Shelter - Odessa
Yet in the midst of all this trauma, God is still at work – meeting not only their physical needs but more importantly their spiritual needs. It is a particular joy to learn that in recent weeks four of the young people have asked to be baptised, having come to faith in Jesus Christ.

Please pray for Mark, Samuil and sisters Lada and Yelizaveta, that they may all continue to grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus.

Pray also for the ongoing safety of all the children and staff at Grace Shelter.
