Together in the Work
One of the most effective missionary strategies of our time.
That is how one national church leader recently described the support and partnership given to local missionaries and church planters as they seek to reach their own people with the Gospel. It is certainly not the only approach to mission, but in SGA’s regions of ministry, we have witnessed God’s blessing on it in remarkable ways.
As we look back on our anniversary project, Enabling Gospel Workers, we thank God for the response on the home front and the new opportunities developing in the field. Whether it is Jan, David and Jonathan revitalising older churches; Martin, Borche and Mykola planting new ones; Serik, Sergey and Alexander reaching unreached people groups; or Alexander, Tomasz and Peter training the next generation of leaders – these are some of the remarkable examples of true Gospel expansion taking place. These men, with many others, demonstrate what happens when faithful servants of God are equipped and released to do the work which the Lord has called them to do. We give thanks for the many new initiatives now developing across our regions of ministry.
We trust that the sponsorship of local Gospel workers will continue to grow and are grateful for every individual and church partnering with us in this. However, many workers still need partners, prayer warriors and sponsors. If you would like to know more, please contact our office.
