Sharing Little Missionaries

God is still using amazing means to reach people with His saving Word through the distribution of radios, which serve as little missionaries.
Currently, the situation in Christian churches and organisations in Central Asia is not very stable. The number of raids by the government has increased in the last couple of years. While the government proclaims freedom of religion, in reality it is more complicated.

As in many Central Asian countries, Christianity is considered the religion of Russian-speaking and European countries. Most people believe that they are born Muslims, and that to embrace another faith is considered a betrayal in the eyes of others.

There are, of course, Protestant churches that have state registration. However, they are mostly subject to inspections by the state. Therefore, many churches tend to act with caution. While there is resistance to the Gospel and strong opposition towards believers, God is still using amazing means to reach people with His saving Word through the distribution of radios, which serve as little missionaries. The following is the testimony of a Kazakh pastor.

We had an opportunity to share radio receivers with 70 people. We had a good time where we could share our testimonies and listen to the radio programmes that were recorded on these receivers. As a result of our prayers, six people accepted Christ through this project. We are happy that God is helping us with such opportunities. Also, several months ago, one of the churches in a small town was on fire. We went there to help the people. As we were there, we also shared about Christ with the local people. We gave them radio receivers and three ladies started to attend our church.

Sharing these little missionaries is invaluable. This is illustrated by this touching testimony from the Kazakh pastor. Another missionary described the radios as Pastor and Teacher for many. “Praise God for these ‘little missionaries’ which stay behind to proclaim God’s love after we leave.”

Pray for the provision and distribution of radios across Central Asia. We rejoice that God’s salvation is changing lives.
