A new year and a new attack on Ukraine. Early on Tuesday morning 2nd January missiles were fired on the Ukrainian cities of Lviv, Kiev and Kharkiv. Kiev was the hardest hit with many people badly injured and others killed. Light, water and heat are at a premium.
One of the missiles landed on the “Church of the Ascension”, a Baptist Church in Kiev. The building is badly damaged, but we are thankful that no-one was hurt. SGA continues to support those who are in need of help and asks you to pray for our brothers and sisters suffering so much.
May they find strength during these difficult days, as they trust in God’s divine purpose and sovereign power. Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
