Vital timely support

SGA funding that has enabled Oleg to develop a church plant that today is reaching many new people.
Alongside its long-term support for missionary pastors, SGA has also provided emergency support to 60 missionary families who are currently facing particularly difficult times.

Some are serving among displaced people, while others are in significantly dangerous parts of Ukraine.

One such pastor is Oleg Bratishko who previously lived in a part of Kherson that was occupied by the Russians. When it became impossible for him to stay there, he moved along with his family to Kharkiv where he joined a church. Soon after, he became part of a team which was establishing a new church in a highly populated district of Kharkiv that had no Christian witness.

Oleg with his family

With no work available and yet a family to provide for, Oleg was facing very difficult circumstances with little or no income. However, SGA’s emergency support offered vital funding that has enabled Oleg to develop a church plant that today is reaching many new people, both young and old, with the Gospel.

Please pray for him.
