As a result of the shelling, one entrance to the building was completely destroyed. Under the rubble, the bodies of Anna Gaidarzhi and her 4-month-old son Timofey were found. Anna is the daughter of Mukola Sidak, pastor of the Odessa Peresypsk Evangelical Baptist Church. Her husband, Sergey and their daughter were found alive in the next room. 4 other children were killed in this attack.
The funeral will take place this Wednesday (6th) in Odessa. Igor Bandura, Senior vice-president of the Baptist Union in Ukraine asks us to pray, as the Gospel will be preached to probably 1000s of people. Pray for Anna’s father, husband, and daughter. This is a very difficult time for them all.
Igor was messaged at 3am Saturday morning, by Grace Shelter house parents requesting prayer as the missiles were very close. Grace Shelter in Odessa is supported by SGA. The children were all terrified.  Please pray for God’s comfort and help at this tragic time.
