Strengthening Gospel Training in Central Asia

Sponsorship of two new part-time staff members
Welcoming students from across Central Asia, which includes countries that are strongly opposed to Christianity, Almaty Bible Institute (ABI) has been teaching and training men and women for over thirty years.

SGA is pleased to announce an expanded partnership with the Institute, marked by sponsorship of two new part-time staff members. This development will enhance both teaching and administration at a time of rapid growth for the Institute.

Alexander joins the faculty as a seasoned pastor and newly elected regional leader. He will teach several core courses, including hermeneutics, homiletics, and New Testament studies, and will also contribute to programmes in other locations.

Anastasia brings extensive experience from a missionary organisation focused on children’s ministry and leadership training. Her work will strengthen the Institute’s administrative capacity while also supporting teaching in the areas of children’s and youth ministry.

According to Yuri, one of the ABI leaders, the provision comes at a critical moment. A record 110 new students enrolled for this academic year, creating an urgent need for additional qualified staff.

We invite you to pray for Alexander and Anastasia, and for the continued growth of faithful Gospel ministry throughout Central Asia.
