This has been the driving force behind much of SGA’s ministry. The desire has been to partner with local Christians to equip new church planters for ministry so that new people are reached with the Gospel.
WE BELIEVE THAT A KNOWLEDGE OF THE LANGUAGE, LOCAL CULTURE AND RELATIONSHIPS DEVELOPED OFFERS NATIONAL CHRISTIANS A UNIQUE ADVANTAGE.
The need is immense. Many Gospel workers require financial assistance if they are to engage in effective church planting and pioneering missionary work. Within the context of Eastern Europe, Asia and Far East Russia, Christian workers face economic hardship and uncertainty.

As SGA (UK) marks 75 years of ministry we look back with thankfulness to God, and forward to further growth and expansion of Gospel ministry. For that, we need more workers chosen and equipped by God, and more supporters to enable the Mission to provide the prayer backing and financial help to suitable candidates. Church planters, pioneer missionaries, pastors, evangelists and children’s workers are needed in difficult and sometimes dangerous parts of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Far East Russia. You are needed – your prayers, your gifts, your financial resources – to make this expansion possible.

Sergey is one of these servants, a pioneering missionary who ministers in seven remote mountain villages in Central Asia. Over 80 people are regularly reached with the Gospel. Amazingly, one of those is a Mullah. “At his house we meet with people from his village, and they are very open to the Gospel.” Sergey is just one of many dedicated workers who need prayerful support as they bring the good news of Jesus Christ to their own people.
