Preparing Workers

"We have a lack of workers, and the harvest field is so big … The best thing we can do is prepare people for service and ministry."
Friday 20th January marked another important milestone in the work of the Gospel in Poland. Thirty-four dedicated men and women gathered from different evangelical denominations to begin their studies at the SGA Bible School in Ruptawa.

Some had travelled over 600km in wintry conditions to attend the first session of a three-year programme designed to equip workers for ministry, and deepen their devotion to God.

Pastor Tomasz Chylka, one of the directors of the School, explained the need for such training.

“The situation in Poland is that there are no churches in most of the small towns in Poland. We have a lack of workers, and the harvest field is so big … The best thing we can do is prepare people for service and ministry.”

Throughout the teaching session, the students were conscientious, the fellowship was warm, and friendships have been formed that will potentially last a lifetime.

We praise God for this good start and commend this strategic ministry to your prayers.
