the inside story

Oleg Sadovsky – Slobodka

Oleg and his team want to see many more finding faith in Jesus Christ. They have big plans to share the Gospel with thousands of people.
Hearing him speak, you can tell how passionate Oleg Sadovsky is, to bring the Gospel to the people of Odessa. Only truly happy when he is serving, Oleg faithfully ministers to the people of Slobodka in a particularly deprived area of that region of southern Ukraine.

Together with his team he serves those with very little possessions, those whom nobody else wants to serve despite their desperate need.

Every Sunday, as well as the distribution of bread, homemade meals are provided for the hungry while the Gospel is preached in the open air and Christian songs are sung. People are repenting and currently 40-50 people attend Sunday services.

Oleg and the church

Giving food aid

Oleg and his team want to see many more finding faith in Jesus Christ. They have big plans to share the Gospel with thousands of people, and intend to do this not only through the distribution of aid, but also by a combination of weekly Bible Studies, women’s ministry and children’s clubs. Big plans need bigger premises, so big prayers have been prayed!

Oleg and his team found a suitable plot of land, located in a strategic part of the city, and they are now looking to build a House of Prayer [church building]. They have already raised £38,000 themselves, but still require a further £23,000 in order to meet the final cost of the project.

With your support, SGA is committed to helping meet this great need, so that this vital work of God can continue!
