Gospel on the Move

Christian workers face constant problems as they attempt to sustain ministry in scattered locations or advance into new areas. Road and transport systems are often poor or even non-existent.
SGA’s supply of good second-hand cars has been a rich practical blessing and help to pastors and evangelists in their ministry.

In the geographical isolation of the vast region of Far East Russia Denis Tolstov, an SGA- sponsored missionary ministers. Alongside his church work and evangelism, Denis, has a ministry among disabled children and their families. Such opportunities bring certain practical needs, including suitable transportation.

Denis had an old car with many mechanical problems which was entirely unsuitable for his needs. Working alongside one of Denis’ sponsors, SGA(UK) was able to send funds for a replacement vehicle. Now Denis can develop his ministry among these children and their families. With a more reliable car, he also plans to travel to more villages in his region and expand the work there.

Gospel work has been significantly enhanced through the transport project

The need of help with transport for three pioneer Gospel workers in Central Asia recently came to the attention of the Mission. These men are travelling huge distances, sometimes serving in challenging circumstances. To facilitate their ongoing pioneer ministry, support with transport was a priority.

We are pleased to inform you that funds are available for two vehicles while the third is under consideration and hopefully will be realized very soon. We are thankful to you, our partners for providing the necessary funds for this worthy project.

Updates on the missionary families in Central Asia who have benefitted from this project will appear in future Inside Story posts. Pray for more Gospel work to be carried on in new locations as missionaries make use of SGA provided vehicles.Â
