During our recent online prayer meeting, Pastor Igor Bandura [wife Anna]Â from Ukraine shared some encouraging statistics.
Since the Russian full-scale invasion three years ago, over 160 new Ukrainian churches have been planted in 15 European countries by displaced people, while 86 new churches have been established within Ukraine. In addition, more than 900 new church leaders were ordained, 50 missionary evangelists were added, and more than 10,000 new converts over the past three years – all associated with the ministries of the Baptist Union. Despite the war, therefore, the Gospel continues to advance – people are being saved, and believers are taking courageous steps of faith as they take on leadership roles within the church.
Praise God that even in these darkest of days, God is building His church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
