Imagine travelling along rough, mountainous roads on the way to a Hope Centre—the base for ministry in a remote region of Central Asia. In the middle of the night, high in the mountains, the vehicle suddenly breaks down and there is no way to continue.
It is pitch dark, there is no mobile phone reception, and the only visible sign of life is across the river that forms the border—distant lights from a village in a neighbouring country, where the regime is hostile to the Gospel and the Bible.
This was the reality faced by one of our teams as they journeyed to deliver the very first printed copies of the Word of God [Family Bible] to this people group in their own language. Yet God moved in remarkable ways, and despite the obstacles, the mission was accomplished.
However, the vehicle that had faithfully carried our brothers and sisters for years could no longer be repaired. The need for reliable transportation became urgent for the continuation of this vital outreach.
We are pleased to share the good news that, thanks to your support, SGA was able to partner in providing funds for a dependable second-hand vehicle. The joy among the team was immense—especially for the SGA-sponsored missionary, Rashid*, who continues to serve faithfully in this challenging region.
Now that the Hope Centre is established and a reliable vehicle is in place, ministry efforts are progressing. Family Bibles, Joy of Christmas gift boxes, and other outreach initiatives are being delivered, bringing hope and truth to many.
Already, we are witnessing God at work. Where there was once no Gospel light, hearts are now opening. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and faithful support.
