At the beginning of this year there were several pastoral ordinations, which have brought great blessing.
One of them was Serhii Kravets from a new church in Cherkasy. Three years ago, Serhii and his wife Vika started a church there. Today, about 70 people attend the church, and on January 11, 2026, Serhii was ordained to pastoral ministry.
The church is very active in sharing the Gospel. They organise film screenings and host several home groups were non-believers are invited to attend. They also hold various outreach events, including singing Christian songs in the public squares.
There are many sad reports coming from Ukraine, as its people face continued hardship, but we rejoice that God is at work in all circumstances. Give thanks and praise to God for new Churches, new Pastors and the opportunities his people have to share the Hope of the Gospel.
