Fruit-Bearing Partnership
One of the greatest highlights of SGA’s 75th anniversary year was the opportunity to reflect on those partnerships which have defined the Mission’s ministry over the last seven and a half decades. Just as the Apostle Paul poured out his heart in gratitude for the Philippians (Phil. 1:3-5), we too treasure the preciousness of Gospel partnership with those we are privileged to serve alongside. Yet, as Paul expresses his sincere thankfulness for those with whom he partners in ministry, the over-arching theme of his letter to the Philippians is that this partnership is totally centred on the Gospel. It is the Gospel that both generates partnership and drives it to missionary enterprise.
SGA has always emphasised the fact that a strong partnership at home is ultimately reflected on the field. On the home front, our partnership with churches and believers across the UK and Ireland has created a strong, effective prayer base and a shared vision for Gospel expansion through the provision of necessary funding. Moving further afield, our partnerships with other missionary organisations and national believers have resulted in much God-given fruit, as the Gospel has spread to new regions and people groups. Together, we have seen the fruit of pioneer evangelism, new converts, and churches planted, as well as the great joy, encouragement, and renewed vigour that comes from serving alongside our brothers and sisters across the world. Through it all, we have discovered that the united efforts of individuals and organisations achieve a broader cultural and global reach than any could do alone. Shared expertise, finances, and manpower lead to greater ministry outcomes and make the work more effective. Partners on the field receive necessary financial, material, and prayer support, enabling them to focus on the work with fewer distractions.
All of this and more is evidence that there are many fruits of partnership. As some of our partners in mission share in this issue of Frontlines, they reinforce all that this editorial seeks to outline. In essence, the fruits of partnership in the Gospel are a demonstration of God’s grace actively working through His people to further His mission in the world. How amazing it is that God gives us the privilege of actively participating in His work, resulting in both the advance of the Kingdom on earth and the spiritual growth of everyone involved, all to the glory and praise of God.

As we move beyond our 75th milestone year, we desire to establish new partnerships and strengthen existing ones. Praise God for the results of believers working together with a shared commitment to advance the message of Jesus Christ. Be a partner today in the greatest task of Kingdom-building!
