Mission Experience in Central Asia

One trip highlight was the opportunity to attend the local church – a wonderful reminder of how people of every nation and language will one day unite to praise God.
At the start of July, a team from the UK and Germany had the pleasure of working alongside brothers and sisters in Central Asia, building bonds and sharing the love of the Saviour through camp ministry.

Local believers had invited the team to join them in leading an English and IT camp for teenagers and young adults who had no prior contact with the church. The camp focussed on teaching IT & innovation skills, as well as developing advanced English with native speakers.

The team enjoyed building friendships with the campers, sampled many helpings of Plov (the national dish), and even took part in a 10-mile mountain hike in 40-degree heat!

The hope is that the friendships formed will open doors to local believers for sharing the Good News with the young people and their families in the months to come.

Reflecting on the trip, team members commented:

It was a time which I will never forget, the way my faith has strengthened due to this trip is indescribable.

God is moving in Central Asia, the harvest is plentiful, and the workers are trying their best, but they need God’s grace through our prayers and support.
