As Viktor Kostenko lives close to the frontline in Zaporizhzhya region, Ukraine, he is confronted by many pressing needs as he reaches out to those experiencing the anguish of war. He endeavours to bring some form of normality as he and his team provide children with back-to-school packs following their summer break.
Children gathered from the day camp and church family to participate in the Sunday morning service, during which prayer was offered seeking God’s blessing on all the children. During the service the SGA-funded back-to-school packs were distributed.
Viktor expressed his deep gratitude for the funding, as he envisaged this as a means of showing the love of God to children living in abnormal circumstances.
