Viktor Kostenko lives with his wife and three young children. Having suffered a serious back injury in the war, Viktor wants to relieve suffering by providing essentials for dispersed people. One means of doing so is by providing bottled water. This is a vital project as an explosion destroyed a critical infrastructure – the Nova Kakhovka dam. This vast amount of water was unleashed downstream along the Dnipro river, flooding dozens of settlements.
As a result of this, it is vital to have fresh water. Viktor uses the wells at his home to provide bottled water for many people. While he is blessed with fresh water wells he requires several thousand bottles each week.
Obviously, costs are involved with this project so SGA provides funding for not only the supply of bottles, but delivery expenses and other costs associated with this ministry.
Recently, two water barrels were installed at the local church where people can now collect water. This model will be rolled out to other villages.
Pray for Viktor and his team as they provide clean fresh water, but more importantly, that people will receive living water that only Jesus Christ can give.
Pray that the team will have many opportunities to share the Gospel with needy thirsty people.
