Church planting continues!

We believe on our part that the Lord will continue to build His Church in war-torn Ukraine.
Ruslan, Maria & family

Another SGA sponsored missionary, Ruslan Verbytskyi, epitomizes faithful committed Gospel ministry to needy people. He was instrumental in planting a new work in Rogatyn, and over its first year saw it grow and develop. He set about encouraging the appointment of a local leader.

Ruslan and his wife were displaced from the eastern war zone, and he believes the work should have a local pastor. He has since moved on to another town – Shepetivka – in response to an invitation from believers there. His main ministry from a Christian outreach centre there is to the multitude of displaced people whose lives have been devastated by the war, and who need to hear the Gospel message of hope and eternal life.

There are indicators of the determination by God’s grace to drive this work of church planting forward. One relates to SGA’s plan as part of our 75th Anniversary celebrations, to support a number of additional church planters so that this ministry will have the human resources to meet the expected expansion. We believe on our part that the Lord will continue to build His Church in war-torn Ukraine.
