The need for Bibles in native Central Asian languages is vast. God is opening doors to reach the unreached nations of Central Asia with the Gospel! We often take for granted our access to God’s Word in our mother tongue, while much of Central Asia’s ethnically diverse population is still without access to a copy of the Bible in its native language.
Our goal is to reach families with the Gospel. This is vital in Central Asian communities where the role of the family unit in society is highly valued. God’s Word reminds us of the importance of the family in society, and our prayer is that in reaching families, we can influence entire unreached communities with the Gospel. In recent months, several Bible shipments have already entered a number of Central Asian countries. We give God thanks for the successful arrival of the latest shipment, earlier this month, which included 30,000 Bibles in three Central Asian languages.
We are currently awaiting the delivery of the next shipment, which will contain children’s Bibles in both Tajik and Russian. In addition to the many Central Asian languages spoken throughout the continent, Russian is a common language. For this reason, a steady supply of Russian Bibles is essential for reaching Central Asian communities with the Gospel. The task of providing Bibles in all the mother tongues spoken by over 35 people groups would prove almost impossible.
We are thankful to God for the local churches in Central Asia and their vision to reach families with the printed Word of God. This network of established churches will coordinate the distribution of Bibles to local communities, where people are already hungry to receive God’s Word. Believers have a list of 2-4 families with whom they are in regular contact, and each of these families will receive a Bible set, including a full Bible, and illustrated Bible stories for the whole family. Pray that as the seed is sown it will bear fruit in their hearts! The aim is to reach 15 people groups through this project. Please pray!

It is a great joy that the shipment has arrived and we can unload and begin forwarding it to the countries of Central Asia. Our mission is to bring people hope through the Gospel. May God bless this ministry, so that His Word will bring love, peace, and joy; and most of all, may people come to know our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We thank you and ask for your prayers for us.”
