Imagine National Believers Who are Called and Equipped by God for Ministry Among Their Own People
IMAGINE... hundreds of villages with no evangelical witness at all and where there are people wanting to go to Church, but without a vehicle to travel elsewhere to worship.
IMAGINE... having a very old, small Church building near you, but there is no one who has the ability to faithfully preach the Gospel. Imagine also not having a Bible or hymnbook, or any study notes for those who do attend.
IMAGINE... that, without hindrance, the Cults are already establishing themselves in these same villages.
IMAGINE... there are men who have been trained and equipped to preach the Gospel, but who cannot afford to go and help.
IMAGINE WHAT COULD BE DONE IF THEY HAD FINANCIAL SUPPORT!
The concept of SGA’s Leadership Support Ministry was introduced after the fall of Communism in Central and Eastern Europe. Denominational leaders were faced with the awesome challenge of new possibilities to reach out with the Gospel, but with meagre resources at their disposal, their efforts were greatly inhibited. In today’s economic climate evangelistic ministry and church planting is again proving to be extremely difficult to finance in many countries.
IMAGINE WHAT THEY COULD DO!
Imagine someone who, at great cost to himself and his family, has undertaken study at an SGA Mission School in Eastern Europe or Central Asia. Think of the impact they could make in their own country, knowing the language and culture of those to whom they minister. Envisage how much more could be done, if they could have support for themselves and their family. They would then be free to serve the Lord in a full-time capacity.
IMAGINE WHAT YOU COULD DO!
Without your help they may have to miss great opportunities for the Gospel. Remember what the apostle Paul said, “How shall they hear without a preacher?” Imagine what would happen if you, your Church fellowship, or a group of individuals supported a full-time national worker who is equipped for the ministry. For as little as £10 per week in some countries and up to £60 in others, visualise what your input and support could accomplish in the lives of individuals, villages and communities across Central and Eastern Europe.
IMAGINE WHAT COULD BE DONE TOGETHER FOR THE EXTENSION OF GOD’S KINGDOM THROUGH LEADERSHIP SUPPORT!
There is still a need for willing workers and trained preachers, but the furtherance of the Gospel is primarily being hindered by a lack of financial resources to meet the very real needs of men willing to go out into the harvest field. SGA’s Leadership Support Ministry is seeking to meet these needs.
IMAGINE... With your help many will now have an opportunity to hear and respond to the wonderful message of saving grace in Jesus Christ.
