To serve the Church among the Slavic nations of the world by assisting it to become fully equipped to fulfil the great commission of Jesus Christ

SGA is currently seeking to appoint Voluntary Representatives.

Voluntary Representatives promote within the UK or Ireland, interest in, and prayer for the church in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Activities of a VR might include:

  • Encouraging people to receive Breakthrough magazine & the Prayer Bulletin from SGA.
  • Contacting Missionary secretaries and/or committees of churches to inform them of the work of SGA and to try to obtain openings to tell of our ministry.
  • Maintaining close links between SGA and supporting churches in your area.
  • Making arrangements in conjunction with your local SGA representative or the SGA Regional Co-ordinator, for conferences and itineraries.
  • Forming a group of interested people in your area who could pray regularly for the Church and its people, in our area of ministry.

SGA are aware that people’s gifts and availability may vary; however, the mission appreciates commitment where possible in this role.

Those appointed as Voluntary Representatives should have a personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, be committed to their local church and be in agreement with the Doctrinal Statement and Ethos of the Mission.
